Job description:
Something very exciting is underway in Goshen, New York. Due to open in 2020, LEGOLAND Park and Hotel in New York is Merlin’s biggest single investment to date and you could play a crucial part in this amazing project!

We’re now looking for a unique person who has a passion for creating and executing loyalty strategies for LEGOLAND New York Resort annual pass program, covering product offerings and proposed price setting. You will ensure our Senior Management team and other relevant stakeholders have up to date information on latest research findings including guest KPI’s, satisfaction and CAPEX performance.

About The Role
Your main goal is to increase revenue, throughout sales and visits to Annual Pass holders. You will ensure high pass holder satisfaction level, through development of strong and compelling Annual Pass programs. Your goal will be to secure the highest possible renewal level percent an KPI’s including satisfaction and CAPEX performance.

Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute strategies for Annual Pass Programs (AP) (products, communication, benefits) covering both recruitment and renewal programs including cooperation with other Merlin attractions.
• Ensure in Park and home page membership information and signage is current and up-to-date.
• Manage membership database and ensure it is up to date and accurate meeting legal requirements.
• Work together with guest service and ticket sales team to ensure training in AP program and AP up-sell to guests.
• Prepare promotional calendar for renewals and recruit.
• Ensure ongoing reporting on AP performance and implement necessary corrective actions to reach sales goals and guest attendance targets.
• Ensure a relevant and appealing benefit program.
• Execute relevant research plan covering pre-visit, during and post visit including support the Sales and Marketing Director in product development research and other ad hoc research requirements.
• Analyze data and develop research management reports with recommendations. (Brand Manager responsible for Brand/Media tracking).

About You
If you have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Loyalty, Research, Business Administration, Communications and have experience in a theme park, hotel, resort or attraction we would love to meet you. We are looking for a person with strong experience developing and managing loyalty programs.

You must demonstrate strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex problems in a simple and clear way, as well as,a ability to motivate teams and collaborate effectively with cross-functional peers. You need to have a track record of exceeding commercial targets and objectives and demonstrated experience managing (research) agencies.

Proven ability to manage a large volume of work effectively and efficiently and advanced computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite of projects . Solid understanding of consumer and brand research.

Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for Customer Relationship Managers (NA) to join our Global ecommerce team, part of the Merlin Digital family. This role will be based in Orlando, Florida.

Reporting into the Head of eCommerce NA, the Customer Relationship Managers will be primarily responsible for employing intelligent and innovative digital and direct marketing techniques that leverage the email database to grow converting website traffic, web revenue and yield across the region.

The ability to use data and think beyond email and consider other digital touch points for smart integrated marketing using data will be crucial to success in this role. In time, when appropriate systems are in place, this role will also be responsible for managing the CRM/DMP.

This is a highly autonomous role which will improve the regional email/direct marketing strategy in line with the global central strategy. To ensure local relevancy while utilising industry best practice, the role will also work alongside the attraction Marketing teams as well as the Marketing Directors, Regional SEO & Performance Manager and eCommerce Manager to drive performance.

We are looking for the following skills and experience…

We’re looking for someone who is able to demonstrate a true passion for the digital marketing sector; trying new strategies and using ‘out of the box’ tactics is something that excites our perfect candidate. They will be able to drive smart strategy whilst also getting their hands dirty with implementation; this is an absolute non-negotiable!

The successful candidate will be someone who doesn’t shy away from a challenge, who is capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and who can represent multiple brands well across a range of digital marketing mediums.

Key requirements are:
• Proven experience in CRM/direct marketing role for consumer brand with a proven track record of delivering growth against KPIs.
• A proven capability of launching digital marketing strategies is absolutely vital along with a strong background in data analytics. Sound understanding of the Google Suite (e.g. Google Analytics) as well as knowledge of CMS systems. Knowledge of HTML / JavaScript / CSS skills would be beneficial.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively educate and influence stakeholders.
• Confident problem-solver able to work under pressure, when required, and a hands-on can-do mentality.
• A data driven, proactive and creative approach to problem solving.
• Strong organisation skills, with the ability to multi-task and hit the ground running within a hands-on role.
• You thrive on ownership and accountability – and have a proven track record of acting on your own initiative to deliver change.
• Strong commercial savviness with the ability to identify new opportunities, build supporting business cases and execute.
• Comfortable with data, analysis and reporting against KPIs to influence decision making
• Proficient use of Excel to create and update reports and work with large data sets to draw insight from.
• Budget management experience.

About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager based at our LEGOLAND Japan resort.
In this exciting role you will take our MMM Creative teams fantastic ideas and turn them into reality! The MMM Creative team are the masterminds behind the innovative attraction ideas for LEGOLAND Japan and as the Project Manager you’ll be responsible for delivering multiple projects that will have a real impact on the growth of the entire Merlin business.

This will mean talking to a wide variety of internal and external people, including builders, suppliers, creatives and marketing, and being able to hold your ground.
