The Opportunity
The Duty Manager will be responsible for the day to day operation of the Centre including health and safety, customer service and financial procedures
Reporting to the Centre Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the operational team.

The Person
It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and commitment to customer service.
The successful candidate should have extensive knowledge of the leisure industry.
You will be required to work on a rotating shift pattern which includes early mornings, evenings and weekends.
A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is desirable but not essential as we can fully fund the course.
Ideally you will Pool Plant Operators qualification and a recognised Leisure Management qualification.

Duty Manager
Breckland Leisure Centre, Thetford
Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: From £18,500 /year

Located on the outskirts of Thetford, Breckland Leisure Centre & Waterworld is a busy facility offering a 25m swimming pool, fun pool with slide, 70 station gym, sports hall, indoor bowls green and an onsite cafe.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for a supervisory management position within the leisure industry.

Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Duty Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the centre including Health & Safety, swimming pool management, customer service, financial procedures, and the management of staff.

A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, Pool Plant Operators Certificate, and a recognised Leisure or Supervisory Management qualification is desirable. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of leisure operations. Supervisory experience within a similar role would also be advantageous.

The position will require flexible working hours including early, late, and weekend shifts and is subject to completion of a DBS disclosure.
