Job description:
Mulberry School for Girls Contract - Whitechapel, London

This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader committed to providing a diverse and meaningful range of leisure and culture related activities for the local communities in which we serve.

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for managing the day to day operational requirements, ensuring that the Contract is operating in-line with both the Parkwood’s Financial, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures as well as managing the contractual requirements of the Service Specification.

The Opportunity -
• Managing the School’s Helpdesk system through being proactive in monitoring the service and reacting to the required standards. Liaising with all the clients and subcontractors respectively, overseeing the day to day maintenance services and managing the Parkwood Premises team.
• Ensure all the school contracted buildings are complying fully with all responsibilities as defined in the Contract
• Monitor building compliance of the Contract at each school on a daily basis and address any anomalies immediately
• Proactively monitor the Help Desk to ensure compliance with the Contract and address any anomalies immediately to prevent financial deductions
• To play a key role as the leader of the Premises Team in maintaining the buildings presentation, operation and equipment
• Develop, maintain and evolve good relations with existing Clients and stakeholders
• Take responsibility for health and safety and actively participate in the maintenance and improvement of the overall contracts Health and Safety culture
• Provide direct support to the General Manager and Operations Manager in ensuring contractual responsibilities are adhered to
• Manage, develop and coordinate staff resources effectively to meet the requirements of the role
• To take responsibility for all contractors on site carrying out any repair/maintenance work

The Person -
• Ideally qualifications in the Building trade or Facilities Management equivalent.
• A proven track record in maintaining facilities. The post holder will ideally have achieved a presence within the industry that ensures personal credibility.
• Good written and oral communication skills

Based - South East - Windsor & Maidenhead, Bexleyheath, WestBerkshire, Wiltshire, South Holland, Breckland

This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader committed to providing a diverse and meaningful range of leisure and culture related activities for the local communities in which we serve.

Working as part of the central support team and collaborating across the wider organisation, this role will support the National Sales Manager in the delivery of Parkwood Leisure’s Health & Fitness and Swimming membership sales.

The Opportunity
We will need you to achieve monthly membership and income targets, as well as taking a proactive approach to increasing our membership base, use data to analyse key performance indicators and be able to lead and motivate your teams to exceed their targets. You will need to be able to travel to 7 contracts in the South East Region. You must be excellent at planning and managing your time across approximately 27 centres.

The successful candidate will need to deliver on the following responsibilities:
Implement the company's sales strategy.
Evaluate and interrogate individual and site KPI performance and provide appropriate interventions to improve numbers in-line with national targets.
Monitor and evaluate CMS systems and produce weekly and daily reports and updates to the region.
Support the development of our sales managers and site based sales staff.
Develop, manage and deploy our sales journey.
Provide regular training to site based staff and sign-off OTE (on target earnings) eligibility.
Achieve our membership sales and revenue targets across the region.

The Person
Experience of managing activity levels, sales journeys and delivering member net gain improvements.
Minimum of 2 years experience managing within a sales environment.
Experience of delivering sales training.
Previous people management experience.
Experience in a pre sales environment.
A car and a full driving licence is required

The Opportunity
Provide excellent customer care to all users of the facility and assist with customer queries.
Instruct groups of various sizes and ages on a range of activities
Delivering courses in a professional and reliable manor while inspiring a passion for outdoor activities in participants
Working independently and exercising good judgement, discretion, and tact
Keep stores clean, tidy and in order at all times.
Perform regular safety checks of the centres outdoor equipment.
Assist centre staff and customers with bicycle rental and retail sales.
