This is an outstanding career opportunity with a not for profit charitable organisation committed to providing a diverse and meaningful range of leisure and culture related activities for the local communities in which we serve.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Duty Managers, the successful candidate will be flexible, reliable, possess good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
You will work specified contracted hours per week (shift work) and must have a customer-focused approach.
Your main duties will include lifeguarding, supervision of the public and various cleaning tasks around the facility.
Includes evenings and weekend working 40 hours per week.

The Person
The successful candidate should have previous knowledge of the leisure industry and experience of working in a busy wet/dry facility.
Excellent communication skills, flexibility and a commitment to customer service are essential.
You will be a team player, and self motivated with a willingness to learn
A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is essential.
First Aid at Work certificate, Pool Plant Operators qualification as well as a recognised Leisure Management qualification is desirable but not essential.
Training to achieve these qualifications will be provided
