We are seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to join us as a Casual Duty Manager within our Nadder centre facility which offers a comprehensive leisure service.

We aim to provide services, projects and activities that deliver positive experiences to a wide range of people utilising sport, physical activity and active lifestyle based approaches across the county, in leisure centres, sports clubs, community facilities, schools, village halls and recreational spaces.

About the role
As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational and staff issues in the day to day running of the centre.

You will be undertaking a variety of roles as required to meet operational needs, acting as the primary point for solving customer and staff issues, acting as the key holder for opening/closing the centre and taking responsibility for ensuring the centre remains a safe, smart, fully functioning community space during opening hours.

About you
• You will need to be innovative, energetic, an effective leader and have the ability to deal with complex customer and facility issues.

• Ideally you will hold an NPLQ in pool lifeguarding, and a pool plant operator’s qualification, or be able to achieve these within three months.

• Supervision of staff and previous experience in a customer facing role is essential.

About you

The Nadder centre is looking to recruit Catering Assistants to join our lively and friendly team working on a casual basis.

LIVE∙WORK∙COLLABORATE

Operating within our popular leisure facility, the café provides a wide range of hot and cold snacks throughout the day and early evening. Our facilities consist of a brand new four-court badminton hall, multi-purpose hall, fully equipped gym, library, outdoor tennis courts/netball courts and facilities for the pre-school, sure start, and police.

About the role

As Catering Assistant you will be responsible for providing a friendly and welcoming service to our customers.

You will also need to be flexible in when you can work and to be able to cover holidays and sickness at short notice where required.

About you

As this is front line work, you should be personable, confident and self-assured, customer focused and presentable.

Catering Assistants should have an understanding of the principles of basic food hygiene. If successful, full onsite training will be provided.

Good numeracy skills are essential to effectively operate the cash register and handle cash transactions.
