Job description:
We are currently recruiting for a passionate senior member of the team, overseeing the mains sales process, who will bring new ideas to the club to support growth in memberships.

This role is ideal for someone looking for that next career move, who is already at team Leader level or above

For this role you will:

• Need to establish a high performing team, developing talent, and coaching all levels on the gym floor

• Be expected to manage the sales process to generate new memberships and create a reputation of quality within the local community.

• Be expected to plan sales and marketing activities by being proactive in generating leads, both inside and outside the club, and mentoring the rest of the staff to do the same .

• Have the ability to manage and mentor with the sales process to make the procedure as smooth and robust as possible

• Conduct sales tours to walk in’s as well as generated appointments, in order to promote and sell club memberships and mentor the club staff to do the same

• Be expected to plan accordingly and against a budget set within the club

• Have the ability to develop relationships within the local business and residential community.

• Be able to complete successful calls to the leads generated in order to arrange appointments

• Support the team in retaining the members in order to contribute to the customer service and membership growth.

• Understand the importance of high sales activities in various ways in order to make an impact and get people aware of the club’s facilities.

• Work with franchisee to ensure Annual Targets and membership levels are achieved

Required Skills:

• Minimum 1 years Experience in a people management role, such as team leader, Assistant manager ,Sales manager or general manager, preferably in a leisure role

• Previous Sales Experience

• Can Do Attitude

• Ability to easily communicate with and listen to other team members and customers

• Demonstrate strong leadership and decision making skills

• Be confident, trust-worthy, motivated and passionate to be able to build rapport with prospects, members and staff.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Health & Safety

• Knowledge of HR

• Level 2 or 3 or Other similar sports qualification


Basic Salary £27K to £30K - depending on experience .
