Job Purpose
• To manage the sales process, to generate new memberships and create a reputation of quality within the local community.

• Conduct sales tours in order to promote and sell club memberships.

• Marketing the club both internally and externally, developing relationships within the local business and residential community.

• Supporting the Club Team in retaining members.

• Planning sales & marketing activities and to be proactive in generating leads using data collection activities.

• Support the Club Manager in areas of the club's operations from strategy and delivery of plans to evaluating their success.

A fantastic opportunity that has recently become available, working for a great health club operator in Streatham. Your chance to lead the business to the next level. A background in sales as well as fitness and operations would be a massive advantage.

The club has been open one year and is still growing strongly. It features state of the art equipment and offers everything from cardio and weighted machines to a full range of free weights and functional equipment, plus great group classes. This gym is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and fabulous value - a great environment for people to reach their fitness goals and enjoy doing it.

You will have experience in developing and delivering a 5* service within a facility by getting the best from your team. There are some attributes that are extremely important and that all our successful Club Managers have in abundance, such as:

* People Management – you’ll need to inspire your team, develop them, lead them and create an environment where they can be awesome.
* Standards – you’ll need high standards and a willingness to accept only the best of yourself and your team.
* Personal Training Management – you will have a track record of managing a team of personal trainers in a high paced environment.
* Studio management - with both a general studio and a dedicated spin studio, the consistent delivery of a varied and high quality timetable is essential.
* Commercial drive and enthusiasm to find a way to hit targets consistently.

There are some further skills that are extremely important and are essential for being a successful Club Manager at this business, such as:

We are extremely keen to speak to managers who have got a passion for the health and fitness industry and particularly making it fun and accessible for everyone.
