In addition to rail services and the mountain journey experience, the business encompasses numerous high-quality catering and retail units, both at the base in Llanberis and at the summit building.
Your key focus will be the overall operational leadership of Snowdon Mountain Railway, incorporating both the railway and engineering side of the business and the commercial tourist attraction that it then operates as. The leadership and development of well-developed and experienced teams will be a primary focus, together with the engagement with the Snowdonia National Park, tourism bodies, the community and wider stakeholders for the benefit of the business.
You will need to deliver solid financial results, as well as maintaining and further developing the high-quality customer experience.
Salary will reflect the responsibility and seniority of the position, with a salary of £70K (plus benefits) negotiable, dependent on experience. Relocation support will be given where appropriate.
