About The Role
The Facilities Manager is a vital role to Team Merlin to ensure that all the fun and magic is being delivered at optimal level. As a Facilities Manager you will provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers while maintaining a safe, clean and fun environment for all who enter.

Key Objectives
• Provide a safe environment for guests and team members by championing Health and Safety as a first priority through all job functions.
• Provide direction and leadership to show services technicians through open communication and mutual respect.
• Ensure flexibility with the various departments within our attraction by prioritizing maintenance to meet the ever changing needs of our business.
• Maintain a cost effective inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Ensure the culture of our attraction through recognizing, rewarding and encouraging team members as well as delivering Magic Moments to the team.
• Operate the Show Services Team in a manor to ensure internal and external regulatory compliance.
• Responsible for hiring, scheduling, training and directing a dynamic team of technicians.
• Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the attraction.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

• Instill a Safety First culture throughout the attraction.
• Ensure all health, safety and security requirements are met on a timely basis.
• Ongoing supervision, training and development of the Show Services team.
• Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment and parts spares to complete assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner.
• Schedule, maintain and approve employee time and attendance.
• Provide leadership, training and development to technicians.
• Maintain repair and service records through CMMS.
• Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly inspections are being completed.
• Schedule complete and supervise repairs and preventative maintenance on all HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Audio/Visual, Scenic and other assets as needed.
• Liaise with outside contractors as needed.
• Seek out and recognize opportunities for continuous improvement.
• All other duties as assigned by your manager.

Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• High School Diploma, and/or equivalent certificate or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Experience in all aspects of building maintenance.
• Knowledge of A/V systems a plus.
• Possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi task as necessary to meet a deadline.
• Great organization skills, detail oriented and self-starter.
• Ability to work with people from all levels of discipline.
• Excellent solving problems and analytical skills to develop appropriate solutions.
• Good knowledge in MS Word and Excel.
• Open to new learning and quickly adapts to change.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
