If you are passionate about sport and fitness and working with young people, this is an excellent opportunity to join the New Collaborative Learning Trust and develop the sporting skills of our students and increase engagement in sport and physical activity.

As our Sports Development Officer, you’ll work closely with the sports departments of the Schools and Colleges across the Trust to set up and run programmes of competitive and enrichment sports activities that enhance the student experience and break down barriers to participation and ensure inclusivity.

The post would suit a dedicated individual, with experience of working within the sporting community as a participant or leader. An active practitioner in a range of sporting activities, you will be an advocate for Sports Development across the Trust, forming positive relationships with students, improving participation rates and championing sporting and physical exercise in promoting health and well-being.

Experience of being involved in student-led sporting activities, setting up fixtures and officials and of developing sporting programmes would be desirable.

It is envisaged that the job will in the main be term-time only but where trips/visits are run in holiday periods there is an expectation that the post holder will attend and adjust their days accordingly.
