3d Leisure to manage second corporate gym for Tesco

3D Leisure has signed a second corporate contract with Tesco to operate the Healthy Living Zone Club at the retail giant's head office in Welwyn Garden City.

The 500sq m club consists of a 40-station, Precor-equipped gym; a studio for aerobics, tai-chi, yoga, step, self-defence and boxercise classes as well as three treatment rooms for a physiotherapist, on-site GP service and a beautician.

Personal training will also be available.

The club, which is open to all Tesco Head Office employees, is expected to achieve a membership of 800 by the end of the year. As part of the deal, 3D Leisure will also offer corporate membership rates for all 200,000 Tesco employees at all its clubs in the UK.

3D Leisure currently manages 34 hotel health and fitness clubs and is looking for further corporate club management deals. It signed its first corporate contract with Tesco last August, for a Healthy Living Zone Club at its offices in Cheshunt. Details: +44 (0)1252 849707
