Aromatherapy Associates has launched a new collection of facial oils designed to target a range of different skin care concerns.

Billed as a 'first aid for the skin', the collection features six oils; Hydrating Nourishing, Hydrating Revitalising, Anti-Ageing Intensive Skin Treatment, Anti-Ageing Fine Line, Mattifying Refining and Inner Strength Soothing. Each oil has its own unique blend of natural essential oils, and are designed to help nourish, revitalise, plump, firm, soothe and balance the skin. The Hydrating Nourish facial oil is formulated with rose and sandalwood oils to hydrate dry skin, smooth uneven complexions and stimulate circulation.

The Hydrating Revitalising oil is designed to restore vitality and give the skin a healthy 'glow', it contains rose and frankincense essential oils. The Anti-Ageing Intensive Skin Treatment oil contains rosehip and wheat germ oils, as well as vitamin E to restore the skin and aid regeneration.

The Anti-Ageing Fine Line oil features antioxidant rich apple and raspberry seed oils to aid the production of collagen and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The Mattifying Refining is formulated with lavender, which acts as an antiseptic, and ylang ylang to rebalance the skin.

The Inner Strength Soothing oil is designed to reduce inflammation and encourages cell regeneration, it is formulated with camomile and baobab seed oils. In addition to the treatment oils Aromatherapy Associates has developed an accompanying ritual. Users apply a drop of oil to the forehead, cheeks, chin and neck, before massaging the oil in, using upward and outward motions for a lifting and rejuvenating effect.
