Barnsley Premier Leisure has introduced a new membership package that will provide an affordable fitness membership for all Barnsley residents.

The new membership, which is called Fitness Flex, costs just £14.99 per month and involves no joining fee or monthly contract.

The membership runs at three leisure venues including Darton Community Sports Centre, the newly refurbished Dearneside Leisure Centre and Wombwell Swimming Pool providing unlimited access to three fitness suites and two swimming pools.

Glenn Tolan, Head of Operations for Barnsley Premier Leisure, explains: "We have introduced BPL Fitness Flex to meet demand from local people for more flexible access to gym membership.

"This new package means members can access some of the best facilities in the area, without needing to worry about getting into a contract or paying an up-front joining fee. We've had lots of interest already and are looking forward to helping as many people as possible to benefit."
