Career ladder offered for PTs in northern England
Exercise training company Northern Fitness and Education (NFE) is to introduce the Central YMCA Certificate in Personal Training as part of its training programmes.
The certificate is accredited by the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) and will focus on the practical application of skills. Graduates will also be offered a number of follow-up workshops and seminars after they have completed the course.
Christine North, director of NFE, said: “The certificate offers a comprehensive balance of theory and practical work covering knowledge of exercise and fitness, advanced gym instruction, nutrition, training in different environments, business marketing, fitness testing and exercise programming.”
Students who qualify will also be placed free of charge on the company’s personal training register, where potential clients looking for a trainer can access their details.
