Checked out the new BHA website?
The BHA website was successfully re-launched on 24 June at the BHA Annual Luncheon and is found at the usual web address: www.bha.org.uk
The site, which features up to the minute hospitality news and the latest hospitality industry and BHA events, is designed to be an online resource for members and for those interested in the work of the BHA and the hospitality sector.
There is a special section on the Associations' Young Chef Young Waiter competition, as well as a tab for SALSA, the BHA-endorsed local suppliers scheme.
The BHA will also be launching later on this year a Sustainability Forum designed with industry partners as a place for BHA members to share experiences and queries centering on green issues.
There will be advice on reducing usage and costs, how to effectively reuse and recycle as well as information on how to educate and encourage sustainable practices. Please check back soon for more information.
Images from all BHA events will also be posted to the new online gallery so make sure you check back regularly to view the photographs. Have a scroll through now at: www.bha.org.uk/events
Members can also access restricted areas of the BHA website to view extra content, such as specialist help lines, money saving offers and advice from key industry experts.
BHA committee members can also now find an archive of all committee materials providing them with vital information at the click of a button. To log in, members need to enter their establishment membership number into the username and password fields provided.
For any login queries or to find out your membership number you can speak to the Membership Manager David Mills on: [email protected] or +44 (0)20 7404 7744.
Initial figures from the re-launch have shown that the BHA has already had almost 2,000 unique visitors to the site which is an exceptional start.
The site has also received a further plug after the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson took to his twitter account to tweet about his speech at the Annual Luncheon and direct his followers to the new site!
