Cornwall’s Lugger hotel launches Seboni Spa
The Lugger Hotel, located in Portloe on England’s south Cornish coast, has added a spa, called Seboni, to its facilities.
The Spa has four treatment rooms, all housed in revamped fishermen’s cottages, and signature treatments include the Full Moon massage, performed outside after dark.
The hotel is run by a husband-wife team, Richard and Sheryl Young, who have also designed and created the Lugger spa’s treatments and products.
Sheryl Young says that her ambition is to develop the Seboni brand into a chain of luxury spas as well as launching the Seboni Cornish Spa Essentials product line both in the UK and the US.
The couple is looking to open their first US hotel on north east Florida’s Amelia Island.
Currently operating as a bed and breakfast, the site has been completely transformed and is to relaunch this spring as The Addison hotel.
Its 15 bedrooms will be located in double-porch fronted Antebellum houses and garden cottages.
Spa treatments will also be introduced for guests. The island offers six golf courses, a selection of village boutiques and galleries and 13 miles of white sand beaches. Details: www.addisonhousebb.com
