Dundee leisure park expansion planned
Plans to expand the Camperdown Leisure Park in Dundee, Scotland are to be unveiled.
Land occupied by the former Don & Low factory was acquired by Vico Properties and the £25m park has now been developed out. It was pre-let to Cineworld for an 11 screen cinema and a new ice arena for Dundee City Council. Other occupiers include McDonalds, KFC and Ashoka Shack.
The new plans include a 60-bedroom hotel and a garden centre, and will be put on display at the Dundee Ice Arena from tomorrow (2 September).
A Vico spokesperson said: "We purchased the 28-acre site adjoining the leisure park for a phase 2 extension and entered into legals with Wyevale Garden Centres for a 100,000 sq ft Garden Centre. Discussions are ongoing with a number of other interested parties."
