FITKID launches training franchise package
Health and fitness industry training provider FITKID has launched a franchise package to replace its Fun Fitness Class licensing programme.
The company has developed the franchise offer to ensure greater structure and support in the organisation and to those wanting to run classes under the FITKID brand.
The launch represents an opportunity for operators to access the support and expertise of FITKID in such areas as staff training, class development and structure, marketing, accounting, insurance and administration.
Existing licensees are being offered the opportunity to transfer to the new package.
With more than 14 years of experience in running Qualification Standard Training courses, The FITKID course now incorporates the Level 2 Central YMCA Qualification, Certificate in Instructing Health Related Exercise for Children, which is the only nationally recognised qualification in this area and is approved by the Qualifications Curriculum Authority (QCA).
Through this training and qualification, students have the opportunity to learn how to plan, structure and provide interactive health-related exercise classes for children up to the age of 16.
FITKID's development manager, Nicky Kay, said the launch of the franchise is particularly pertinent given the current public and government focus on children's health.
"By opening up FITKID to franchisees, we hope to enhance our national coverage and increase awareness of the issues as well as inform and offer parents more choices for their childrens' fitness."
