Falaise Fitness Centre re-opens after refurbishment
The new look Falaise Fitness Centre, run by Freedom Leisure, reopened on Tuesday 31st August having been closed since 22nd August for a major upgrade and development.
The huge investment is in conjunction with Hastings Borough Council and aims to inspire more local people to use the facilities on a more regular basis and work towards achieving a more active and healthy lifestyle.
The centre will re-open fully refurbished with new fitness kit in the gym, new lockers, new shower cubicles and a new air handling system. Also new to Falaise will be the Freedom For You member support programme which offers four different options to give members the individual support they need to achieve they results they are looking for. One to one personal training will also be available with new full-time personal trainer, Gilberto.
The Centre also has a new manager. Nicole White will be joining the existing Freedom Leisure team at Falaise from Bexhill Leisure Centre where she has enjoyed three successful years.
Steve Parker, Hasting and Rother Area Manager for Freedom Leisure said, "The improvements made to Falaise Fitness Centre will certainly help boost the motivation of our new and existing members. The new fitness kit, as well as the new programmes will help get everyone up and moving this Autumn - come and see for your self!"
Cllr Trevor Webb, lead member for Leisure and Amenities at Hastings Borough Council, said: "Hastings deserves first class sports and leisure facilities and I'm pleased that we, along with Freedom Leisure, have been able to invest in the Falaise centre."
