Luxury uniform designer Fashionizer Spa has added three new fabrics to its portfolio and belts for the brand’s spa outfits, inspired by martial arts attire.

The new fabrics have been sourced and developed to address the specific needs and challenges faced by staff working in spas. For example, the Beautiful Bamboo Fabric contains 60 per cent bamboo and 40 per cent polyester – making it absorbent, breathable and soft. Available in bespoke uniform designs or from stock, the bamboo fabric aims to be a cost effective solution without compromising on style.

The Wonderful Waterwise Fabric is made up of 50 per cent recycled polyester (from recycled plastic bottles by NewlifeTM) and 50 per cent Tencel®, made from wood pulp. Resistant to water, this fabric is easy to wash, quick to dry and durable.

Uniforms made from this sustainable material work particularly well at thalasso-focused spas and hydrotherapy resorts, which focus on water treatments.

The 100 per cent organic cotton Perfect Pique Fabric is a soft, knitted material with an emphasis on comfort and flexibility. For owners and managers of spas searching for a less structured uniform, this fabric provides an informal yet elegant option. This fabric could also be used as an alternative to towelling bath robes, for consumer use.

The addition of belts to Fashionizer Spa’s uniform accessory options enables spa customers to personalise spa staff outfits without a full bespoke uniform programme. Inspired by the coloured belts used in martial arts suits, Fashionizer Spa believes these accessories allow clients to differentiate between departments – with different belt colours.

With no restrictions on the colour and fabric choice, belts can be ordered on their own or they can be teamed with a uniform. Minimum orders apply for bespoke colours and specific fabrics.

Fashionizer’s focus on bespoke designs is complemented by an extensive range of high-quality stock spa and hotel uniforms in natural fibres. The company sources all of its fabrics in Europe, where it also manufactures its garments.

Fashionizer Spa has a commitment to sustainability and a reputation for innovation. It pioneered the organic Cotton Performance Fabric, which was developed specifically for the spa environment and it has recently introduced a new antibacterial finish to its spa uniform fabrics.
