Freedom Leisure hosts Sandwich open day
Following its being awarded the contract to manage Sandwich Sport & Leisure Centre, Freedom Leisure has updated the equipment on offer and held an open day to show the facility off to the public.
The sports trust, which operates 14 leisure and fitness centres across Kent and Sussex, has invested in the provision of new gym and weights equipment including spinning bikes, a smith machine, new benches and dumbbells. The open day, held on 20 September, offered a programme of taster sessions and activities in the sports hall, activity studio and crèche, including trampolining, karate, badminton, football coaching, table tennis and cheerleading.
Youngsters could also enjoy sessions on a bouncy castle, face painting and 'Koolcrew' art, crafts and games. "As an experienced leisure provider and employer Freedom Leisure is dedicated to delivering to its customers the very best facilities and customer service regardless of age or ability," said Jeff Hart, Freedom Leisure's managing director.
"Our vision for Sandwich Leisure Centre is to work with and improve on the already excellent facilities for the local community to enjoy.
