Harry Ramsden's rollout
Harry Ramsden's, the fish and chip restaurant chain owned by the Compass Group, is planning to launch a flagship site in the West End of London this spring.
The launch of a 200-seat 'fish and chip emporium' is anticipated to be a great attraction for oversees tourists and is part of plans for a up to 40 new openings this year.
With 157 company owned and franchised sites in the UK and internationally, the chain plans to expand its counter-style operation, Harry Ramsden's Express. The chain aims to have a total of 60 sites in shopping malls, airports and motorway service areas by the end of the year.
The Local Harry Ramsden's traditional fish and chip takeaways are also scheduled for expansion in the next two to three years. Details: www.harryramsdens.co.uk
