Healthy living initiative revealed in South Carolina
A group of public and private sector organisations in South Carolina, US, have introduced a new scheme called the Carolina Preserve Initiative, aimed at investing in future generations of families through the gateway of healthy living and the outdoors.
The initiative will utilise South Carolina’s natural and human resources to integrate wellness into the lives of the young, their families and then the greater community.
The cooperative of partnerships includes Clemson University, Furman University, the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and The Cliffs Communities.
Jim Anthony, the founder and CEO of The Cliffs Communities, said: “We believe that wellness is fundamental to all forms of success in life – good health is the gift that keeps giving. We’re honoured to pool our resources to put as many children as possible on the pathway to success.”
