Luxury London health and fitness spa on schedule for summer
London's £10m luxury health and fitness spa, The Chelsea Club, is nearing completion in time for its launch this summer. Constructed by Multiplex, the developers behind Sydney's Olympic stadium, the club will cover 40,000sq ft over three floors and offer members facilities including a cardio-theatre, a 25m swimming pool, an elevated 200m outdoor running track, and a health and beauty spa. Membership services include 30 one-hour 1:1 personal training sessions, a three-month tailored fitness plan and a range of classes as part of the annual fee costing from £2000. General manager, Valerie Haydon, says the club will serve many needs: The Chelsea Club will cater for both the serious athlete and the amateur fitness enthusiast. The fitness equipment and relaxation facilities will be unrivalled in the capital and the level of service we offer will be more in keeping with a five-star hotel than a gym. The Chelsea Club is scheduled to open late this summer.
