Morgan Sindall starts work on Telford Ice Rink refurbishment

Telford and Wrekin Council (TWC) has revealed that work has started on the "extensive refurbishment" of Telford Ice Rink as part of the wider £250m Southwater development.
Main contractor Morgan Sindall has been appointed to lead the project, which includes an overhaul of the existing bar area to open up new space for a commercial tenant.
A new restaurant or bar will also be created to the front of Mecca Bingo, while a soft play area is also planned. The refurbished Telford Ice Rink is expected to reopen in October.
