MoveGB has announced a partnership with PureGym, the largest gym chain in the UK.

The company provides access to hundreds of local exercise classes, gyms, studios and more, all under one membership.

As part of a pilot scheme, MoveGB’s customers will get access to 36 PureGyms across the UK. If the scheme is successful, further clubs will be added to MoveGB’s expanding network.

MoveGB MD Justin Mendleton said; “We’re delighted to be partnering with the UK’s leading gym operator and are excited about the additional value this relationship will bring to our members. Pure Gym’s mission to keep everyone fit and healthy through affordable fitness is admirable and one closely aligned with our own objective of providing great variety in order for people to develop a sustainable fitness routine for life.”

PureGym’s commercial and strategic development director, Francine Davis, added: “The MoveGB model is an interesting one and we’ve been impressed by the way it enables people to keep their workouts varied while also giving people the opportunity to train wherever they are in the UK.

“One of PureGym’s core values is about making fitness as accessible to as many people as possible and about encouraging more people to incorporate regular exercise into their routine, so we’re more than happy to explore partnerships that support that mission.”
