New member for FIA board

Cannons Group has joined the Fitness Industry Association's board of directors.

Martin Oliver, managing director of the chain of 52 health and fitness clubs around the UK, was co-opted onto the board to replace David Stalker, who resigned last month. Oliver will remain a director until the FIA's next elections at its' AGM in September 2001, when four new directors will be voted onto the board for the usual three-year term of office.
