North Lincolnshire appoints consultant to plan future of leisure facilities
Sports and leisure consultancy, PMP, has been appointed to investigate the future provision of leisure and recreation facilities in North Lincolnshire.
The study, which will provide a blueprint for modernising community sports facilities in the area, is being funded by North Lincolnshire Council and will look at existing leisure facilities as well as what is required, both now and in the future.
They will also investigate potential sites and partnerships for new leisure facilities as well as potential sources of funding.
PMP, whose team consists of researchers, consultants and architects, has performed similar studies for more than 30 other local authorities.
Cllr Alan Holgate, cabinet minister for leisure at the council, said: “This work will help the council’s plans to modernize community leisure facilities.
“It will allow the council and other partner organisations to target out resources where they are most needed within leisure.” Details: www.pmpconsult.com
