Nuffield Health to combine its Corporate and Consumer Wellbeing divisions
Nuffield Health, the UK's largest healthcare charity, has combined its
Corporate and Consumer Wellbeing divisions to create The Wellbeing Division.
The primary purpose of the change – effective from 1 December – is to create a one stop integrated wellbeing offer for all its customers, extending physical locations to give national coverage, creating product innovations in clinical and fitness areas.
The charity says its long-term aim is to create a unique not-for-profit health and wellbeing system that challenges the existing NHS and for-profit models.
Outlining the rationale behind the move, Dr Andrew Jones, managing director of wellbeing at Nuffield Health, said: "To ensure we keep on track with our vision of integrated health, we are making strategic changes to simplify the way the organisation functions that will support our group strategy and ensure that we continue to develop an integrated approach in everything we do.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for us to deliver exciting and innovative products through clinicians, fitness professionals and client services teams to our corporate, PMI and consumer markets.
"We have a new Wellbeing leadership team organised to support our four key service lines in consumer fitness, corporate fitness, physiotherapy and primary preventive health.
"This is an exciting journey and part of the long term vision for Nuffield Health to offer joined-up health and wellbeing."
