Physical Company has identified fitness flooring as a growth market for 2015. The forward-thinking fitness equipment supplier has added a range of flooring products to its new catalogue which allow operators to turn the gym floor into another piece of fitness equipment.

Specialised flooring options from Pavigym include the ‘Body Mind’ tiles which facilitate stretching and yoga moves. The range also includes ‘Endurance Free Weight’ flooring and ‘Functional Area’ flooring which have interactive markings to facilitate different exercises.

Physical Company has also introduced a wide range of coloured artificial grass to bring the outside indoors. The grass provides a focal point to any gym floor and adds a touch of realism when performing sport specific training drills such as sled training or agility work.

To assist operators in installing the right type of flooring for their facility, Physical Company provides a free 3D flooring design service for gyms of all sizes.

“We have increased our flooring options for 2015 to provide more choice for gyms and fitness facilities,” said John Halls, sales and marketing director at Physical Company. “Inspiring flooring designs enhance the aesthetic look of any facility as well as adding more workout options for members. It makes perfect sense for facilities to make their gym floor work harder, whether that is with a sprint track, speed clock or a body and mind floor area.”
