Pulse has been selected by Ballymoney Borough Council in Co. Antrim to refurbish and enhance the leisure facilities at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre following its closure after a fire in January.

The agreement involves Pulse delivering a luxurious health suite, refurbishing the fitness suite including the installation of a range of state-of-the-art fitness equipment and providing ongoing sales and marketing support for the next three years. The health suite will boast a new spa bath, sauna, heated loungers, ice bowl, seated relaxation area, steam room with crystal feature, mood effect lighting and dousing jets and a snail shower with themed water experiences.

The refurbishment of the fitness suite will include the installation of new Pulse Fusion cardiovascular equipment - to Inclusive Fitness Initiative requirements - featuring iPod and Freeview television connectivity and SmartCentre integrated gym management software. In addition to the club refurbishment and equipment installation, Pulse is to provide marketing campaigns, sales strategies and dedicated sales personnel in a move designed to drive new membership and retain existing members.
