Rainforest Café teams up with tropical forest trust
Themed family restaurant, the Rainforest Café in London, has joined forces with the World Land Trust to help save Ecuador's tropical forests and wildlife. Rainforest Café is committed to raising funds for the project and has recently given a cheque for £1,000 towards the purchase of The Cha! Cha! Reserve in Ecuador, named after the Rainforest Café's tree frog character. The restaurant, featuring tropical rain showers, thunder and lightning storms, rain forest aromas and a cacophony of wildlife noise, plans to raise additional funds by introducing a new dish on the menu with a contribution from each order going towards the Reserve. Additionally, the café runs a free education programme for schools which aims to inform children about tropical forest and endangered species.
