Consumers are looking for drinks which complement their relaxation or beauty schedule for an all-round benefit, according to marine cosmetics company Thalgo.

To address this desire, a range of teas and beauty drinks are offered as part of the company’s Marine Health segment, rich in high performance marine extracts and active ingredients to achieve results while respecting the body’s natural balance.

Five organic teas – ‘Refining’, ‘Draining’, ‘Serenity’, ‘Light Legs’ and ‘Digestion’ – each offer a specific health focus, while ‘Collagen Booster’ is a beauty drink with anti-ageing benefits. ‘Slim 7’ is a body refining drink which acts as a booster when starting a diet and helps the body fight physical fatigue and restore the energy balance.

A special 50th anniversary ‘Peach Tea’ version of the drink was launched in 2014. ‘Océa Draine’ is a detoxifying nutritional drink containing 100 per cent natural active ingredients. It is designed to help recover a sense of wellbeing and lightness, and with 21,600 units sold worldwide in 2013, remains a popular choice.

Finally, nutritional ‘shot’ drinks, including for cellulite and for circulation and comfort, are offered.

Thalgo distributes to 80 countries and approximately 500 hotel spas. In early 2015, the company will launch ‘Collagène 5000’ – which is a relaunch of the Collagen Booster drink and will contain additional active ingredients for improved results.
