Shrewsbury-based, holistic wellbeing studio Rural Space has installed Total Gym GTS machines, offering functional training programmes from the GRAVITY Training System.

The studio is the first of its kind in Shropshire, offering fitness, hypnotherapy and beauty treatments. Owner/managger Vikki Heath says: "We run a full timetable of yoga, Pilates, bootcamp circuits, spinning and other studio based classes.

"GRAVITY Training complements everything we do - it's like doing aerobics or Pilates while lifting weights. Results are achieved quickly and it feels good." GRAVITY Classes work every muscle in the body with over 200 exercises. In a matter of seconds members can go from a bicep curl to a plyometric squat. The incline of the glideboard can be adjusted incrementally to match any fitness level, from using just five per cent of the user's bodyweight to 59 per cent for maximum resistance.

There are currently eleven scheduled GRAVITY classes per week at Rural Space, with four different classes to choose from: GRAVITY Fat Burner, GRAVITY Pilates, GRAVITY Strength and GRAVITY Tone. Members get access to everything on offer, while non-members can buy classes in packages and there is also the option of personal GRAVITY Training sessions.

The facilities at Rural Space attracted attention from personal trainers as well as fitness and wellbeing enthusiasts as the Total Gym equipment offers a wide variety of training on one machine - a practical and functional alternative to the traditional gym.
