Shokk for Holmes Place Iberia
Fitness equipment and training company SHOKK is working with health club chain Holmes Place Iberia in Portugal to deliver the company's Fit Families project.
Designed to promote health throughout the community, the Holmes Place Fit Families project aims to improve quality of life through practical, regular, inclusive physical exercise, encouraging families to get active together.
Andre Groen, Holmes Place Iberia's development director, said: "We have a social responsibility to help local communities get active and we've taken active measures to do this.
“We've set several objectives, specifically for young people, which is where SHOKK came in. We were keen to offer a place for eight- to 16-year-olds to get active while having fun with their friends; the SHOKK concept offered exactly that."
The new club in Lisbon will therefore offer a wide range of family-orientated facilities, including group-based classes for young people. There will also be a 35sq m SHOKK youth gym offering CV, interactive and resistance products.
