Technogym has announced a new strategic partnership with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) – the international body for strength and conditioning research and education.

This collaboration marks an industry first, with the two organisations teaming up to create educational content for the fitness industry. The resultant health and wellness resources are being distributed by Technogym starting this month. This content will be made available to Technogym customers and master trainers, as well as the wider industry, and will incorporate the NSCA’s peer-reviewed scientific research and principles.

“Technogym is proud to partner with the NSCA making an impact on strength and conditioning as a practice and a profession,” said Nerio Alessandri, president and founder of Technogym.

“Our goal is to support our customers and drive the industry through invaluable education, content and solutions. Core to this is enabling the Personal Trainer network that is on the frontlines training end-users on equipment. It is crucial trainers are educated and certified to provide professional and optimal training experiences.”

The content produced by this partnership will also bolster the NSCA’s collection of strength and conditioning resources. These will be used as part of its efforts to support members with continuing education options, career support services and diverse certifications for personal trainers, fitness specialists and strength coaches.

“We are extremely pleased to announce this innovative partnership with Technogym,” said NSCA executive director Michael Massik.

“Technogym’s endorsement of NSCA certifications underscores their mission to create the industry’s most educated network of professional trainers. In addition, NSCA members and certificants will greatly benefit from this partnership and we look forward to a bright future of collaboration.”
