Slips, trips and falls are the most common cause of accidents in the UK, with the average cost of a slip claim costing £14,000.

The Slips, Trips and Falls Conference is an international, two-day event on 4-5 October, at Farmers and Fletchers in the City of London, which brings together renowned experts, the latest research and the newest ideas on helping to avoid these serious and costly accidents.

The conference is essential for anyone involved in managing slips, trips and falls in the workplace in any sector.

The Slips, Trips and Falls Conference is supported by headline sponsor Classic Marble, which will be unveiling its new Senstec™ anti-slip shower tray range – launching on the market in early 2017.

Leading experts will share information and research on topics such as barefoot slips, stair accidents and falls from height. Issues such as understanding the regulatory and legal framework, protecting yourself against the new health and safety sentencing guidelines and how to defend slips, trips and falls insurance claims, will also be addressed.

Recommended for facilities managers, health and safety managers, architects and specifiers, the conference will be of interest to those working in all commercial and public sector environments.

A gala dinner will take place in the beautiful Ironmongers’ Hall on the evening of 4 October. Located in the heart of the City of London, this will provide a great opportunity to network with industry experts.
