Grange Leisure & Community Centre
Full Time, 40 hours (3 months fixed term)

This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader committed to providing a diverse and meaningful range of leisure and culture related activities for the local communities in which we serve.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will assist in signing up new leisure centre members to hit daily targets. This will include attending events within the local community, keeping up to date with our corporate relationships and assisting with daily admin tasks. The main priority will be making sales calls and dealing with sales enquiries. As part of your role you will be required to work on the reception desk when required.

The Opportunity
You will ideally be able to demonstrate competency of working in an administrative role; capability in cash handling, customer relations and basic computer skills are essential requirements to this post. As the successful applicant, you will be provided with full training in all aspects of this role. The post includes evenings and weekends, and worked over 40 hours per week.

The Person
The successful applicant will need to be a people person, confident, ambitious, enthusiastic and outgoing, eager to succeed in this competitive industry and be driven by targets and goals. You will require a passion for the product you are selling, have a knowledge of social media advertising and be computer literate. You will need to be flexible, work well in a team and on your own able to work some evenings and weekends worked over 40 hours. You will also ideally be able to demonstrate competency of working in an administrative role; capability in cash handling, you will be provided with full training in all aspects of this role.

Richmond Park Golf Course

Pro rata £22,880 per annum (equivalent to £11 per hour).

This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader committed to providing a diverse and meaningful range of leisure and culture related activities for the local communities in which we serve.

Richmond Park Golf Course is London's premier pay & play golf course, with 36-holes, driving range and Academy Course. We now require a Duty Manager for what promises to be a busy and exciting golf season. Duties include:

Duty Manager responsibility for the Golf Operations department.
Opening and closing the premises.
Cashing-up tills at the end of a shift.
Arriving golfers for their tee times.
Bar & Restaurant duties.
Preparing hire buggies for customers.
Keeping the clubhouse and driving range clean & well-presented

You will be based in our new state-of-the-art clubhouse, located within the stunning surroundings of Richmond Park.

This is a fixed-term role from March to October, 36 hours per week. Hours are flexible, but will include weekend and early morning/evening shifts to match the peak times of our golf business.

Experience of working in a golf/hospitality environment preferred, but full training is provided.

Crook Log Leisure Centre is located in the heart of Bexleyheath. Crook Log is a very busy leisure centre with a 200 station gym and swimming pool, offering a wide range of activities for the local community.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Duty Manager who is passionate about working in the leisure industry
The Duty Manager will be responsible for the day to day operation of the Centre including health and safety, customer service and financial procedures
Reporting to the Contract Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the operational team.

The Person
It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and commitment to customer service.
The successful candidate should have extensive knowledge of the leisure industry.
You will be required to work on a rotating shift pattern which includes early mornings, evenings and weekends.
You will have a NPLQ and First Aid at Work certificate
Ideally you will Pool Plant Operators qualification and a recognised Leisure Management qualification.
