REM UK unveils Legacy Spa Couch and adopts new strategies to fight climate change

The Legacy Spa Couch is one of the greener products in our extensive range

The Legacy Spa Couch is the latest massage bed created by spa and salon equipment supplier REM UK.

New for 2022, the treatment couch features a contoured laminated frame for safe unhindered use and is complete with luxury upholstery to maximise comfort for users.

The product is fitted with a standard face cut out and infill, adjustable backrest and electrical foot control for easy usage. The massage bed can be adjusted vertically via an integrated motor and is complete with two lower drawers to offer discreet storage options.

Clients can customise the Legacy Spa Couch to their specifications and choose between 21 fabric and laminate finishes. Prices start at £2,143 + VAT (US$2,658, €2,528).

“The Legacy Spa Couch is one of the greener sustainable products in our extensive range of beauty spa furniture,” said Trevor Lingard, REM commercial director.

For the past eight months, REM has been working to improve its carbon footprint, mainly by sourcing local sustainable componentry for its manufacturing plant.

The company has also recently launched an Earth Range offering a selection of new laminate and fabrics chosen with the environment in mind.

96 per cent of REM's product range is now sourced/made in the UK and the company intends to increase this each year going forward until it hits 100 per cent.

In addition, any orders placed result will see REM plant trees with Just One Tree to help rcombat deforestation around the globe.

REM UK Ltd
REM has more than 70 years experience in manufacturing Salon equipment. Suter Equipment, REM's predecessor, began making salon dryers in the 1930's. REM was formed in 1997 and acquired Suter Equipment then. The company still makes salon dryers today (although of a considerably advanced design!) but added to that is the vast range of salon furniture, seating, reception desks, wash units and beauty equipment that go to make up REM today.
