The role of Team Leader is the first step up on the management ladder and has a great deal of responsibility attached to it. For those who are up to the challenge, it could be the start of a successful management career within KAL.

Your primary aim is the delivery of excellent customer service, through effective supervision and leadership of all operational staff. You will be expected to ensure the smooth running of the centre’s day to day activities and programme, whilst being responsible for the security, health and safety of the building and everyone in it.

You will be expected to be the building key holder for many of your shifts and should be comfortable in your ability to make correct decisions regarding the running of the centre, in the absence of a line manager.

We are looking to appoint individuals who are committed to achieving and exceeding the expectations of our customers. Our ideal candidate will be dynamic, have strong leadership and organisational skills and, of course, be an expert in fitness.

We really want to take KAL to the next level – we need people to demonstrate what excellence really looks like. Working as one-team will be second nature to you after all, you’re passionate, and you love being around people!

Does this sound like you? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

In return, we can offer you a great package of benefits such as:
- Our Staff and Family Membership scheme, which provides virtually free facilities for you and a greatly discounted rate for some of your family.
- A great discount website which can save you and your family loads of money too!
- We have a generous annual leave entitlement
- an excellent pension scheme (West Yorkshire Pension Fund)
- We also like to have fun and celebrate our successes as often as we can
