Job Purpose

To locate customers and sell sustainable club memberships in numbers that consistently meet or exceed expectations, particularly seeking out those who would not normally join a health club.

Key Accountabilities

- Generate a steady stream of membership recruitment opportunities through outbound prospecting
- Grow club membership numbers by communicating the value of club products and services
- Research prospects and tailor messaging to bring high volumes of new customers into club membership
- Generate customer data that enables team members to close membership sales and to retain members at highest levels
- To connect with customers in a range of external networks and virtual environments.
- To bring people into contact with énergie Clubs, teams and members.
- To become known and respected across the business and local community in the club’s catchment area

Responsibilities and Duties

- Develop and use CRM practice and tools that capture data effectively and efficiently
- Work as outbound prospector to reach customers in variety of locations and consumer environments
- Follow a clearly defined prospecting and sales process
- Keep customer data up to date and refreshed
- Use buyer personas to target and message prospects through phone, email and social media
- Master social tools, such as LinkedIn, Facebook etc. in order to discover more information about member prospects
- Network with community and corporate groups order to build relationships that open access to potential members
- Seek out locations and permissions to display membership offer and to canvass for members in key retaining and recreational locations
- Connect with medical and corporate communities in ways that connect health programmes and promotions with fitness and exercise

We are looking for someone who can actively encourage our members while being focused on helping them achieve their goals.

You will need to be passionate about members needs, help, advise and train them to achieve individual goals. You will need to be pro-active and outgoing to communicate with members and develop a professional relationship.

The role is crucial to the clubs success and you will be the first point of contact to answer queries and help members.

The main responsibilities will include gym instruction, writing exercise programmes and conducting various one-to-one appointments, including nutritional consultations. Some administrative and sales duties will also apply at a later stage together with class instruction and face to face customer interaction.

Minimum Level 2 qualification in Gym Instruction, previous experience is preferable but not essential. The qualifications to teach basic classes would be beneficial but full training can be given.
A proactive attitude and excellent customer service skills are a must, as well as the ability to work as part of a committed team.

After successfully completing a massive £400k club refurb and rebrand, we are pleased to announce that we have exciting opportunities for individuals to join the successful énergie Fitness Cheadle team.

énergie Fitness Cheadle are looking to expand their dedicated Personal Training team with vacancies for 2 enthusiastic Level 3 Personal Trainers. Applicants should have a passion for health and fitness together with good teamwork skills. Previous managerial experience is desired however is not essential.

Our énergie Fitness Cheadle Personal Trainers are well rewarded with an initial RENT FREE period in exchange for just 2 gym shifts of 7 hours each. This will then be reduced down to 2 gym shifts of 5 hours each and £100 rent contribution per month. The shifts include general gym duties including member inductions, sales and administration and managing a fitness apprentice.

We also have positions available for those who wish to pay rent instead of working hours.

Alternatively, we have the option to do half rent and 7 hours per week. Please state your preference in your covering letter.

All of our Personal Trainers will go through an intensive training programme when they initially join. A key component to this is how to develop their own Personal Training business. This includes; how to generate clients; converting inductions/taster sessions into clients; accounts and tax return; and much more.

Responsibilities and Duties

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Fitness assessments, consultations and introduction sessions for new clients through our émpower programme.

Show members how to use exercise machines and free weights correctly.
Supervise members to make sure that they are exercising safely and effectively.
Cover Reception desk and take membership enquires, phone calls and serve customers food and beverage.
Ensure the high standard of cleanliness of the Health club is maintained at all times as per audit
Ensure all Pool & Spa sample water testing is carried out throughout the day and maintain standards.
Ensure all departmental Health & Safety audit checks are complete and documented

Support the whole team in all areas of the operation.
Responsible for pool watch during swim school hours

Fit4less Caspian Wharf in Bow East London (soon to be energie fitness) are looking for a Sales & Member Relations Manager.

Duties will include bringing new members to the club by outreach, in-reach and dealing directly with incoming enquiries, You will also be required to bring in new corporate clients from the local community , and building a relationship with local schools and GP surgeries etc. We will also expect you to heavily use social media to bring in new enquiries

Your role will also include handling membership cancellations , freezes and arrears calls where necessary -closely liaising with our payment handlers -Harlands. You will be expected to meet monthly KPI's for attrition and sales and work with the club manager to provide a first class service to existing members thus ensuring that we are able to retain them where possible.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and marketing, however not necessarily in the Health Club sector but would be an advantage. The role will involve some Duty Manager shifts so you will have to be flexible as you would need to cover morning,evening and weekend shifts. If you are bright and enthusiastic then this could be the job for you.

Getting the most out of your team is essential for success, you will have to lead from the front, deliver results and motivate your team to follow.

A current emergency first aid at work qualification would be beneficial , as would be a level 2 or level 3 qualification, although none are essential requirements
