Your daily workout

MID Suffolk Leisure Centre is looking for a dynamic Group Exercise Instructor who can provide leadership and manage a successful activity programme.

The successful applicant will:
- Have experience of teaching group exercise classes
- Be focused and have the ability to demonstrate the highest levels of teaching
- Hold a Level 2 Fitness & Aqua Aerobics Qualification
- Be passionate about achieving class occupancy targets, building attendance and retaining customers on a week by week basis

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual who is looking to progress their career into management. This role will be adapted to fit you and your skills to ensure you reach your goals. You will oversee the centre operation and support the management team in the day-to-day running of the centre. In addition, you’ll be involved in numerous activities and programmes on offer.

As a Duty Manager you will be trained to demonstrate full competence in the following areas; Financial reporting, processes and procedures, HR policies, procedures and practice, operational monitoring, facilities management and maintenance, customer service, sales and marketing.

Spiceball Leisure Centre is part of the Cherwell Contract in North Oxfordshire. The Centre is a busy facility which consists of 2x Swimming Pools, Expression Fitness Suite (with functional training area), Sauna and Steam Area, Squash Courts, Double Sports Hall, Crèche, 2x Dance Studios, Meeting Rooms.

We are currently looking for a full-time Duty Manager to join our team. You must be a natural leader who is ambitious, flexible, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills whilst enjoying working as part of a team. The role is varied and you need to be a fast thinker and work well under pressure. You will work on a rota which includes mornings, evenings and weekends and you must have a customer-focused approach.

A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, First Aid Qualification and Pool Plant Operators qualification are essential to the role as well as previous experience in managing a team and knowledgeable on Health and Safety. The most important thing is that you are a people person who is passionate and comfortable communicating with all ages.
