Reports to: Golf Operations Manager
Job Type: You will be required to work shifts in the Pro shop which include early mornings and late evenings on Saturdays and/or Sundays and potentially midweek.
Closes: 28th February 2018
Start date: ASAP

We are seeking an outgoing and hardworking individual with a passion for golf to join an exciting new team. This role is customer facing and will require an excellent level of customer service. Enthusiasm is key to building and maintaining your relationships with our customers and also your product knowledge and your ability to share information with our customers.

Within this role you will play a key part in the customer experience – you will be the first and last impression of the Golf Course for our customers. Our ideal candidate will have a professional and confident manner who can also keep calm under pressure.

You will be working both as part of a team and also alone. You will be expected to take cash and card payments, answer the phone and take bookings, promote our memberships, upsell products and general housekeeping duties.

There are no specific qualifications required for this job role but experience of working in a fast paced golf environment is essential. Good communication and numeracy skills are also essential.

Due to the nature of the business applicants must be over 18.

Key responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Meet and greet customers.
- Make bookings and respond to enquiries (face to face and via the telephone.)
- Manage payments and upsell products.
- Promoting our membership options.
- Exceptional knowledge of the services, products and facilities that we offer.
- Ensure there is always a clean and safe environment.
- Build and maintain relationships with our customers.
