About the role
As a Specialist Manager, you could work across multiple sites and will be the technical lead for either fitness, aquatics or venue.

You will provide leadership and guidance to your staff across multiple health and well-being centres to deliver results through higher participation numbers, a broad range of appropriate activities, increased income and high levels of customer satisfaction.

About you
You will have strong influencing skills and enjoy challenging situations whilst working in a fast paced environment.

You will need an in-depth understanding and experience of the modern leisure industry including management experience in the areas of aquatics, fitness or leisure centre operations.

Along with a minimum of 2 years’ experience of managing staff in a similar customer facing role you will be required to have an HND or higher diploma in relevant profession, or equivalent experience/skills, minimum Level 3 in management or equivalent experience.

Relocation packages are available subject to meeting our moving home allowance criteria.

Interviews will take place at Springfield Health and Wellbeing Centre on 11th, 12th and 13th October, candidates will be required to attend one day only.

About the role
You will be providing professional Climbing lessons in a progressive, fun and safe way, whilst maintaining an excellent customer focus at all time. This will include being available both before and after the sessions to answer queries, motivate and guide.

Creative planning of each session is required to ensure that guidance/industry standards are met and you will be required to ensure the equipment is set up to the required standard in line with Health and Safety Guidelines

About you
You should hold a CWAA Climbing qualification and have proof of continuous professional development. You will also need to have insurance through the National Governing body, where relevant and have a good knowledge and understanding of general health and safety policies.

You will use your motivational skills to engage and encourage customers to maintain and extend attendance and deliver consistently high standards of instruction to all customers so that everyone fulfils their potential.

We strive to ensure all our customers have an enjoyable experience within our leisure campuses across Wiltshire.

At Devizes Leisure Centre we are currently recruiting for Pool Lifeguards to join our friendly and sociable team. About the role
Our Lifeguards proactively safeguard the activities taking part in and around our swimming areas whilst enabling and delivering the safe and effective operations of the leisure centre.

You will also be expected to lifeguard pool sessions, ensure the setting up and taking down of equipment is carried out, plus general cleaning tasks and maintenance/building checks.

About you
Along with a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent, you should have experience in delivering First Aid to casualties and assist in managing incidents, and have general knowledge of Leisure Centre operations and activities.

You will need to have an awareness of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and be customer focussed with excellent communication skills, with an enthusiastic approach and give a positive and professional image at all times.

All Pool Lifeguards must attend staff training programmes as required which may fall outside of the working shift pattern. This includes NPLQ as well as additional training sessions, in-line with the job role.

Those who do not hold an NPLQ or equivalent qualification may be considered for this post, however, the qualification must be attained within 3 months of starting.
