This is an outstanding career opportunity with one of the leading leisure management companies in the UK, currently operating 89 leisure centres, 4 theatres and 4 outdoor activity venues on behalf of 37 Local Authority clients. The company has enjoyed steady and consistent growth since its inception in 1995, and now manages revenues in excess of £100m per annum.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Financial Accountant the candidate’s main duties will include preparation of financial information for internal and external stakeholders, assisting with the year-end audit, assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts and assisting in the production of annual budgets (both P&L, balance sheet and capital).

The Person
We need an individual who can demonstrate the ambition and drive necessary to make a difference to our organisation. The successful candidate will be preferably be currently studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with previous management accounts experience, be proficient in spreadsheets, and be a logical and methodical individual who is able to work with a high degree of accuracy whilst meeting tight deadlines. We are looking for a team player, with the competencies to work without direction where necessary. They must be confident in communicating at all levels, particularly in the clear presentation of financial information.

Bristol Contract

This is an outstanding career opportunity for an individual looking to embark on a career in the leisure industry at a busy modern facility.

The Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing and developing the Centre’s internal systems ensuring that the Contract is operating in-line with the Company’s Financial, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures as well as managing the contractual requirements of the Service Specification.

On a day to day basis, this will including managing the Centre’s Helpdesk system, liaising with the Authority and the SPV respectively, overseeing the maintenance services, writing reports, working with department teams to ensure that all areas of the business are operating to the Company’s quality systems and driving the Centre’s Service Improvement Plan.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled, ambitious individual looking to take the next step in your career in Marketing. You’ll be joining us in a new role to develop and deliver our customer marketing and communications plan, helping us to achieve our customer centric multi-channel marketing objectives.

You will focus on creating rich and engaging content in all forms for our entire customer journey lifecycle, ensuring it’s innovative and customer centric at all times. You need the ability to think creatively, to plan and execute well-rounded marketing campaigns, considering ROI measurement throughout. You will need incredible copywriting and content creation skills, suitable for all marketing communications. Therefore creativity, diligence and sound commercial understanding with an analytical focus are a must for this role.

You’ll be joining the business at an exciting time, we’re investing in a significant digital transformation programme, implementing a new CRM system and re-inventing our digital services to be customer centric. You will be the guardian of all things campaign and content related, ensuring we’re delivering the best possible experience for our users.
