$450m resort spa for Rancho Palos Verdes
The Destination Hotels & Resorts group is to manage the US$450m (326m euro, £221m) luxury Terranea resort and spa in the Los Angeles community of Rancho Palos Verdes, US.
The 102-acre resort will have 582 bedrooms and be located on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The oceanfront spa will cover 25,000sq ft (2,322sq m) offering 24 treatment rooms and three swimming pools.
The property is scheduled to open in 2009. Destination Hotels is an affiliate company of the Lowe Hospitality Group.
