Products from the Bostik Findley’s range of adhesives for sports and play areas have been used to install artificial playing surfaces at Manchester United’s Carrington Moss training ground and at The Cliff, home of the Youth Academy.

Both Evo-Sport 9604, an easy trowelling two-component polyurethane adhesive system, and Evo-Sport EST 4000, a tape specifically designed to eliminate show-through on joints, were used to fix Astroplay, a third generation artificial playing surface comprising high density long pile polythene fibres infilled with sand and rubber.

The job, which included the installation of a full sized outdoor pitch, indoor pitches as well as a 1800m trial area, will be used for general training purposes and will also see action from the first team.
