Miraval Arizona Resort and Spa is teaming up with Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort to offer a three-day culinary experience at the Hawaiian property between June 4-7.

Executive chef Matt Demery of Miraval Arizona will join Andaz Maui’s executive chef Ritchard Cariaga and executive sous chef Chance Savell for the event, titled Seasons of Aloha, across Andaz Maui’s six dining venues.

Demery will share Miraval’s signature approach to mindful eating and offering guests other tools to create new habits that support holistic wellbeing and longevity.

There will be a six-course dinner under the stars on the resort’s Nohea lawn, showcasing sustainable seafood and locally-sourced Maui ingredients, as well as optional non-alcoholic beverage pairings. The menu features crab, smoked trout roe, herbs, hydroponic greens, poached Kona cold lobster, cassava, kula vegetables and wagyu striploin.

Demery will lead an interactive plant-based cooking class featuring the flavours from the island. This session will take place on Wednesday 4 June at 1pm and costs US$65 (€57, £48).

The resort’s signature restaurant, Ka’ana Kitchen, will also offer exclusive dishes, available only during this week.

A spokesperson for the resort told Spa Business “The dishes featured during Seasons of Aloha reflect wellness-based cooking techniques through a focus on whole, nutrient-rich ingredients prepared with minimal processing to preserve their natural integrity and flavor. Techniques such as gentle poaching and use of sustainable products, such as hydroponic greens, highlight Miraval’s mindful approach, allowing the ingredients to shine while supporting digestion, balance and overall vitality.”
