Angsana Spa launches in Portugal
Banyan Tree has further extended its Angsana Spa brand into Europe with the opening of a new spa within the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura hotel, in Portugal’s Algarve region.
Owned by Marinoteis-Sociedade De Promoção E Construção De Hotéis and operated by Angsana Spa, the facility covers 8,622sq ft (800sq m) and was designed by Portuguese architect José Luis Teixeira Pinto in collaboration with Banyan Tree.
Offering 11 treatment spaces – five double rooms, one single with indoor shower and bath and five other single rooms – the Angsana Spa also has a manicure and pedicure room, a relaxation lounge and two Rainmist rooms.
Treatments use native flowers, fruits, herbs, spices and plants and are based on aromatherapy and a fusion of techniques from both Eastern and Western influences.
Tivoli Marina Vilamoura is a member of Great Hotels of the World. Details: ghow.com
