Anytime Leisure has appointed strength and conditioning specialist Claire Tracey as education co-ordinator and master trainer, tasked with delivering and implementing an education programme through its Training Academy.

Until recently, Tracey was a strength and conditioning coach with SportScotland and has extensive experience of working with all types of athletes, including rugby players from Glasgow Warriors. She also has a strength and conditioning masters and is eager to make her mark with the equipment supplier.

“I can’t wait to get started,” said Tracey, who is a UKSCA accredited strength and conditioning coach. “The company is continuing to grow and, as a leader in the industry, I am proud to be able to support further growth through the development of the educational offering."

As well as working on the Training Academy – which currently offers educational courses from well-known brands such as TRX, Wattbike and Schwinn – Tracey will also work with customers to offer training and support with their new products. In addition, she will seek to raise the profile of the Training Academy by offering her skills as a master trainer to strengthen Anytime Leisure’s network and online community.

“‘As a company, we pride ourselves on the level of service and knowledge we offer our customers and by Claire joining the team we can be sure we have strengthened our offering and service when it comes to education and training,” said Anytime Leisure managing director Paul Bodger.

“She is an asset to a growing area of the business and I am in no doubt that 2016 will see new and exciting courses coming out of our Training Academy.”
